Its construction dates back to the early ‘40s and it was designed by the architect Pietro Lingeri. Facing the lake and located in front of Comacina Island, it enjoys the privileged view of one of the most evocative corners of Lake Como.

Guests can request and take advantages of services similar to a hotel, but at the same time, they enjoy the privacy and the exclusiveness that only a private villa can offer. Villa is also equipped with the most modern amenities such as Apple TV, satellite TV with 3D LED screens and USB ports (in the cinema area and in the bedrooms), Hi-Fi with iPod support, Wi-Fi connection and air conditioning. The area that houses the municipality of Ossuccio is called Zoca de l 'oli (oil basin), because of the extensive olive groves that dare to grow lush at such an unusual latitude. This is an area that enjoys a climate so mild as to favour the flowering of Mediterranean essences, but also a land rich in history, legends and monuments such as the famous Romanesque bell tower, located at the oratory of Santa Maria Maddalena. Ossuccio is one of the most characteristic hamlets of Tremezzina. Sacro Monte di Ossuccio is a UNESCO World Heritage Site that winds along the slope of the Ossuccio mountain and includes the Sanctuary and 14 chapels illustrating the Mysteries of the Rosary through 230 life-size statues. Regardless of the religious value, the pleasant walk that leads to the shrine offers beautiful views of Lake Como. 

Comacina island rich in historical artifacts dating back to the early Middle Ages is a 300m walk from the villa. Villa Balbianello and Villa Carlotta gardens are also a short drive away from the villa.
