This magical family villa is located in the beautiful residential area of the 16th arrondissement, but still within easy reach of many of Paris' attractions. It's under a thirty-minute walk or just over a five-minute ride to the Eiffel tower and around a fifteen-minute stroll to the Trocadéro, site of the Palais de Chaillot. Back at this grand home, a beautifully landscaped garden provides a lovely place to sit in with a glass of French rosé. Inside, you'll find not one, two or even three living areas, but four generous spaces to enjoy, so it's perfect for a family or group of friends. The stunning dining room with an impressive dining table is a wonderful place for entertaining, while the kitchen with its extensive glazing and chandeliers is a glamorous place to cook – we are in chic Paris, after all. We couldn't help but feel like Alice down the rabbit hole in such an extravagant setting, full of exquisite pieces and animal references – your very own Parisian Wonderland.

Nestled in the South part of the very smart 16th arrondissement, Auteuil used to be a village outside of Paris proper. It's a very residential area - your neighbours will mainly be affluent Parisians who have been living here for generations as well as lots of young families, attracted by the pretty, safe and quiet feel of the place. This is definitely not the part of town to let your hair down in. The streets are filled with large private villas, including the grand and well-known Villa Montmorency. It's a charming part of town with an authentic village feel that has somehow survived its becoming part of the city: it has its own little church, market and plenty of boutique shops, and it's got cultural clout too. It was Proust's birthplace, no less, and was also a place of peaceful retreat for plenty of artists back in the day.
